+ UCSD Supercomputer Hopkins Parking Structure
Neil Hadley While at SPLA | San Diego, California+

Collaborated with EHDD Architects on the San Diego Super Computer Center (SDSC) and Hopkins Parking Structure (HPS), which are located in the North Campus of UCSD. The SDSC facility now opens up to a new vehicular drop-off and large entry courtyard with a bosque of flowering jacarandas and is connected to the new adjacent Hopkins Parking Structure. Plantings of native Torrey pines and native under story plantings spill down the hillside connecting the new facility to the surrounding native landscape. In contrast, the parking structure is wrapped with a grove of eucalyptus relating to the historic eucalyptus grove across the street.
