landLAB collaborated with Myklebust Company on the Sanya Lihe International Center, a mixed use resort hotel, retail and condominium tower in Sanya, Hainan Island, China. The new resort hotel and condominium was carefully sited to take advantage of ocean views and connections to adjacent existing condominium towers and pool amenities. The modern hotel features a large landscaped pool area and associated outdoor amenities including an outdoor spa, swim up bar, children's pool and lush tropical plantings constructed on top of parking below. The street level accommodates three drop-offs for hotel, retail and the condominium towers and features, numerous outdoor dining terraces, sunken gardens and water features. At the heart of the building is a sunken retail/food court and atrium garden that is open to the sky above and a grand stair connecting to the street level retail functions.
