landLAB was hired by UCSD while working on the RSOM Phase II project, to prepare an interim parking study for the site north of the Rady School of Management. The study includes an analysis of three future Academic Building sites along with coordination of the proposed North Campus Housing phase II project scheduled to be completed with RSOM Phase II. The project also includes guidance on future pedestrian connections, view corridors, ADA access, service access, fire access, along with a proposed interim parking lot. The proposed parking lot will be implemented using sustainable design features including porous paving, bioswales, solar powered lighting, and native low water use plantings, becoming a model for future parking improvements on Campus.
