Coronado Apartments is located in Ocean Beach, a small beach community in San Diego, California. The project includes private outdoor garden courtyards for the three units as well as a large semi public garden space along the street edge that features low water use native plantings contrasting the simple and contemporary hardscape materials. The boulevard has been planted with same mix of native plants and rock, which allows access to vehicles, providing a more sustainable alternative to the typical traditional lawn.
